I Will Make You Fishers Of Men

Some of Jesus' disciples were fishermen by trade and had to catch fish for a living but He also called them to be ‘fishers of men’ – to change lives, which meant that he was calling them to bring people to God.

Billy Graham once reminded us that God doesn’t 'call the equipped’ He ‘equips the called’ and as Christians, we are all called to share what Christ has done for us and what He can do for others. God will always be with us when we obey His call.

Some of Jesus’s last words on earth were, “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), so sharing our faith isn’t just a suggestion, it’s a command.

Sometimes we think that sharing the Gospel can be hard, but we don’t need to complicate it too much.

1. Christ died for our sins.

2. He was buried.

3. He rose again.

4. We need to turn away from the things that are wrong in our lives and accept what Jesus did on the cross for us, then receive Him as our Lord and Saviour.

So, let us continually pray and watch for opportunities to witness.

🙏 Lord we pray that you will help and equip us all to share Christ with our friends, community and nation at this time.  Sing along with us ...
